8/28 Restoring Honor Rally Hotels

Our very own Lisa has done it again; we have 40 additional rooms at yet another hotel!! The 8/28 Restoring Honor Rally will be truly historic and I am amazed by the people already going. We have sold out TWO hotels completely. I have been on the phone with other 9/12 leaders and they are having the same thing happen with their groups. To put this in perspective we already have twice the rooms filled than we did last year and still have over a month left before the event. I didn’t think it possible but judging from the early response this year will be even bigger than last and is sure to be better.

We are planning a very special event the evening before and Glenn has a surprise for us all as well. You will need to be there Friday night (8/27) and stay for an amazing weekend. This will be a weekend that will change your perspective, revive your spirit, and possible change your life. (Details of all of Friday night events coming soon)

Complete trip details and registration click here: Restoring Honor Rally

We have secured a discounted rate for just 40 more rooms. These were usually well over $200 a night and thanks to her work we have it down to just $149+ tax a night. I am confident these will go quick so if you have planned to go (which everyone should) and were waiting on a room please make your reservation ASAP. Phone 800-392-8900 use code KYBKYBA or go online to the Residence Inn, Washington DC Vermont Ave

Also this may be your last call to get on the bus. We hope now to fill 3 buses but these seats will most likely be filled by the end of this month. I know there are a few of you that have secured rooms early and were waiting to closer to the event to pay for the bus. WARNING the seats may be filled soon and I really don’t want to have you walk to DC. Bus tickets are only $130 and includes tax & tip, a commemorative T-shirt and gift bag, but most importantly transportation with the group to DC. To get on the bus: Bus Tickets

Don't miss your chance to be part of history - help America right her ship and return to the values and principles that made her great. Be there on Friday evening (8/27) a very special event in Washington D.C. that culminates on (8/28) at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial with Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Joe Dee Messina, Marcus Luttrell and others for the Restoring Honor Rally.

Vacation Liberty School

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: KY 9/12 announces a brand new and exciting program “Vacation Liberty School” for children, ages 10-15 coming to your Town this summer. Experience the origin, nature and benefits of liberty based on Faith, Hope and Charity.

What started as an idea from Sean of the Owensboro Liberty Book Club; grew over night and already gained national exposure. Since then Lisa Abler and a crew of dedicated volunteers have put together an absolute amazing curriculum in a short time giving you everything you would need to run a (VLS) of your very own in your community.

Vacation Liberty School is set up as a week long experience for 2 ½ hours a day for children entering the 4th or 5th grade through 10th grade. The lengths of the secessions or programs can vary though depending on you. (VLS) was modeled after familiar vacation bible school format but as we said may be modified to fit your specific needs, resources, or schedule.

The very first (VLS) will be July 12th to 16th from 6:00 to 8:30pm at Gano Baptist Church, Georgetown, KY with a few more in the Lexington area the weeks following. But don’t wait for us; if you would like to have one in your community we would love to provide you what you would need. 9/12 project was founded on personal responsibility and we need your help and personal effort to organize and hold a (VLS) in your area to reach and educate the future George Washington’s.

To start your own there are 3 simple steps:

~ Organize a week or dates and location. We have found MANY churches very receptive and desiring to help. Remember also that summer is already 5% over and will go quick so get something on the calendar soon.

~ Find a few patriots or volunteers to help and start planning using the information outlined at (VLS) Curriculum. You will need about 2 adults and 1 per (12 -15) kids you estimate in attendance. Included on the website is a list of recommended materials and outlines for each day.

~ Finally let us help you get the word out. We have pre designed press releases, flyers, and other materials. In addition we can send out messages to of 9/12 members in your area, and post on the web and facebook.

Like all things we want you to know that you are not alone. Although we can not be at every (VLS) in the state and now nation we will offer support, suggestions, and answer questions. To help we have an excellent resource page on the attendvls.org website with materials from other groups, research items, and information. More importantly never feel like you are going at this blind; do not hesitate to call or e-mail us. Finally we strongly encourage anyone that is interested if you can to attend an evening of an upcoming VLS that is already planned you will find it energizing, inspirational, and helpful.

I know of multiple (VLS) already on the calendar in Florida and Ohio; let’s not let the origin of this fantastic program (Kentucky) slip behind. I would love to see multiple (VLS) in churches and community centers all over Kentucky each week on this summer. Jump on board and e-mail us with any questions ewilson1776@yahoo.com or Lisa Abler jeffnlisaky@roadrunner.com

Vacation Liberty School

It use to mean something to tell your children they could grow up and become President. Now we need more; we need the next George Washington. We have been educating ourselves and becoming active for our children and grand children’s sake but have we given them the tools and foundation to keep the light of liberty burning.

We believe it is through education, a deep knowledge of our American heritage, and a foundation of faith, is the only way that liberty will survive and thrive. Sadly, there has been a void in education and understanding plaguing recent generations of Americans pertaining to the fundamentals and principles on which our country was founded. Without teaching and laying this foundation of liberty in our youth today, we are in danger of condemning the next generation to face tyranny tomorrow.

KY 9/12 proudly announces a brand new and exciting program “Vacation Liberty School” for children, ages 10-15. Experience the origin, nature and benefits of liberty based on Faith, Hope and Charity. Dates for the initial program in Georgetown will be July 12th to 16th from 6:00 to 8:30pm at Gano Baptist Church, 212 Bevins Lane, Georgetown, KY 40324. There is no cost to attend but we will accept donations to help cover cost of materials.

At a Vacation Liberty School your children will be sent on daily journey back to the founding of our nation and learn the truth about our history and the impact faith had on both the founding fathers and the foundation of our country.
• Learn the role of Faith in the Revolutionary War and discover the Black Robe Brigade
• See how faith influenced Samuel Adams and other founding fathers
• Learn the story of the Constitutional Convention
• Understand what “equal justice” means
• Realize through activities the balance between liberty and tyranny

If your child can make it for the whole week or just a couple of the days it is very beneficial and will lay the much need foundation they will need to navigate their path in the future. Please consider this for you child and register below. Enter any amount you can contribute or even $0 to reserve a spot for your child.
