Block Party - Restore Honor Documentary

Ever since we got back from DC after 8/28 we have been ready to go back. It was an amazing weekend that was filled with love for your neighbor and about restoring communities. Rekindle that spirit; we are asking everyone to come together locally this Wednesday evening for a very special viewing of the inside look at the Restoring Honor Rally 8/28.

On Wednesday September 29th at 7pm, Glenn Beck website, Insider Extreme, will premiere “Restoring Honor: 8/28 the Documentary.” This full length documentary is an exclusive inside look at the making of the 8-28 Rally. It will document Glenn’s journey and behind the scenes revelations along with the pilgrimage that a few very special groups and people made to DC as well. Trust me when I say it has some great interviews and pictures that will bring you back to tears and fill you with pride. Check out his new trailer.

Not an Insider Extreme member? That’s ok sign up or find a neighbor that is.

We are recommending everyone have their very own Block Party this Wednesday. Invite your neighbor, invite your friends, and come back together and enjoy this historic documentary.

Let us know if you are hosting or looking for a place to get together…..

Inspirational look at Restoring Honor Rally

Following Kentuckians as we travel to Washington DC to take part in Glenn Beck’s 8/28 Restoring Honor Rally. This is truly an amazing story and guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye, inspiration to your heart, and pride in being part of this. Thank you for the great editing and wonderful job one of our members did at putting this short documentary together for us.

With laughter, tears, prayer, and songs; Kentucky came to Washington DC to say Restore Our Republic. “This was a call for people to reach into their heart; and to do great things and to stand up for this great nation” – Lisa Williams KY9/12 Member. We went to DC to be inspired and found out that it was the people that went with us that inspired us the most… Thank you all

Second Annual 9/12 Picnic at the Winery

Last week half million people came together. My wife said the most amazing part was the feeling once again that we were not alone and the spirit and energy of everyone there.

On Sunday 9/12 we will be coming back together to meet with like minded people, see that you are not alone, and feel that spirit again. Come be part of this as we continue our journey to Restore our values and principles and we celebrate Faith, Hope, and Charity.

September 12th 3:00pm – 6:00pm for an informal “bring your own” picnic at Talon Winery. This will be the day after the memorial of the 9/11 terrorist attacks when there were no Republicans or Democrats, no right vs. left. We were Americans. Leave your signs, pitchforks, and torches at home and bring your blanket, lawn chair, and picnic lunches and enjoy great live entertainment, speakers, share in a special award presentation, some special surprises, and more importantly keep this flame burning and have the opportunity to get to know your neighbor and meet other like minded 9/12ers from around the state.

This family friendly event will be absolutely FREE thanks to the Kentucky 9/12 Project and Talon Winery and open to anyone.

Talon Winery has graciously donated the facility for this day. Please consider thanking them and showing your support back. Visit their website for events they have and send them a message of appreciation. www.talonwine.com

Second Annual 9/12 Project Picnic at the Winery

This day is for you and we hope to see everyone there. After last week anything less than 2 million people in attendance will be considered a failure so please invite your neighbor and friends to come be part of this and share another truly magical day together.

I must admit being a guy, I don’t get it but I guess it is all about the shoes…

This Sunday for the 9/12 Picnic at the Winery we are excited that we will be celebrating with the amazing musical group “Great Shoes”. Great Shoes is Kentucky’s own talented all female acoustical and acappella group. They have performed all over central Kentucky and we are looking forward to their wide variety of genres, great sing alongs, and fantastic performances.

One of the marvelous things that this group does and in the spirit of charity we are encouraging everyone to bring any gently used men, women, and children’s “Great Shoes”. This is a shoe drive that they have done at many of their performances and we are asking everyone to bring with you and donate a pair of shoes this Sunday as well which will be given to the Amen House of Georgetown, KY to benefit an outreach to those is need.

We are excited about this weekend for so many reasons but among them, picnic, great music, friends, good wine, and a wonderful charity; this is going to be fun!

And remember it is all about the shoes….

Melissa Ohden: Abortion Attempt Survivor. Voice for the Voiceless
“One decision, one single moment, can have such a detrimental impact on
so many people, living and dead, born and yet to be conceived." Melissa Ohden
For more information on Melissa Ohden go to her website: http://www.melissaohden.com/

Message from AFA: Dear Friend:

We have a great event planned for September 28th that is open to the public and we especially want concerned citizens like you to attend.
As you know, one of the most deceptive arguments used by the abortion industry is to say that the unborn child is just “a piece of tissue”.
However, when “the piece of tissue” stands up before you and tells you how she survived an attempted abortion, it totally undermines the entire pro-abortion mentality.

This year we are having an outstanding speaker named Melissa Ohden. She is one of the few abortion survivors. Melissa is the survivor of a failed saline infusion abortion in 1977. Despite being born alive at approximately six months gestation, she has not only survived but thrived. With a Master’s Degree in Social Work, she has worked in the fields of substance abuse, mental health, domestic violence/sexual assault counseling, and child welfare.

Please mark your calendar for Tuesday, September 28th, and make plans to attend the banquet and hear Melissa at the St.MatthewsCommunity Center, 310 Ten Pin Lane (across from The Mall St. Matthews) in Louisville at 6:30 PM. If possible, bring others, especially your children, grandchildren or church youth group, and reserve a table to hear Melissa’s miraculous story that more than anything else explains the heart of the abortion/life issue.

The Louisville Tea Party invites you to come out and bring a friend or two with you for a Sunday afternoon of timely teaching on founding principles, celebration with patriotic music and being energized and mobilized to impact the election cycle as never before. This will be a strictly grassroots citizens' event, featuring dynamic speakers from our region. Our special Guest speaker will be Constitutionalist, Bill Johnson. Also taking the podium will be Marilyn Parker ("Mom Without a Teleprompter" and political activist), Wendy Caswell (Louisville Tea Party founder), Les Naiman (The Voice of Liberty in Louisville), Scott Reed, Dan Blanchard (Louisville Tea Party President) and , Larry Hausman. We're excited to have added to our program, Jim Waters, of The Bluegrass Institute and Randy Walters with Coal-Fed Families. Our MC for the event will be the resonant voice of our own Tea Party VP, Jim Coyle.

Patriotic and celebrational music will be provided by Louisville's own acappella vocal band, Water's Edge. And the Over-Reactors will take the stage as well. Please join us for this day of education and inspiration. And leave even better equipped to make a difference...as an informed American.
