Dateline: March, 2009 - “Have you ever felt like you're the only one in your community who see's what's happening to America? Well, you're not and on the Fox News Channel, Glenn Beck...and you...will prove it….” Wow has time flown by!!



We thought long and hard about having a formal banquet to celebrate our anniversary and to act as a fund raiser. We needed an event and location that is as meaningful as the people and story behind the Kentucky 9/12 Project. Ultimately we decided that what makes us special is the everyday people involved and so we will forego the $100 a plate table cloth dinner for a much more affordable and an even more meaningful location of the birthplace of this movement. Saturday March 12th from 7:00pm – 8:30pm celebrate with us with a free fancy Pizza Buffet at the same location of our very first meeting at Gatti Town in Lexington. It has been an amazing almost two years since we first came together to prove to each other that we were not alone. We have gone on a made an impact in our own lives and those around us and total changed the landscape of political thinking. From 140 people at the first viewing party we now have over two thousand members state wide and many new close bonds and new found friends.

We will take the opportunity of this two year anniversary to celebrate and reflect together the impact we have made as well as look at what is to come. We have garnished international attention, inspired national initiatives, and became one of the most recognized 9/12 groups in the nation. Relive that journey and come see what exciting objectives we have to come.

Pre-Registration will be taken on a first come basis and seating will be limited. This will also be a very important fund raiser for our organization and your participation and donation for this event is appreciated. Tickets are on a donation basis and will include meal, anniversary program, and most importantly opportunity to help support our joint mission and to spend this anniversary with like minded patriots.

Our cost for this event is estimated at $10.30 a person: We gratefully request a donation of $15 - $25 a ticket to support our education efforts and to continue our objectives. Any individual donation for $50 or more will also include Kentucky 9/12 Project merchandise and a signed copy of “We Surround Them; Our Journey from Apathy to Action” book when released.

Liberty Book Club Established in Lexington



We are excited to announce and promote a new group. If you have been interested in joining a book club with the “right” slant, here it is! The first meeting of the Liberty Book Club will be held at Panera Bread on 3401 Nicholasville Road, Lexington, KY on January 27th at 7:30 pm. New Leaders Project

This initiative is the first step in building a sustainable and productive farm team of principled candidates that will truly represent the people. We have put together a whole host of resources to help you get started, with plans to add a lot more.

You Are Not Alone


My initial inspiration of finding like minded people has been overwhelmingly believed. The once hopes of just getting everyone to and from Washington, DC safely has come and gone twice. But all of this now had been eclipsed with our new realization that our objectives are fundamental to the future of our republic and our mission has just begun.

How much things have changed from March of 2009 when many of us felt isolated or frustrated with everything that was going on. Since our inception two years ago people are now more aware of what is happening. More and more people are waking up and more people continue to stand up. Together we are questioning now with boldness, holding to truth, and speaking without fear!

But the more things change, the more things continue. Each one has been a part of the foundation that was being poured and our future was being refined by tools from both sides. On one side we had more and more policies, spending, and larger over-reaching government intrusions building frustration and pushing us away from the founding principles of this nation. On the other side, we had a spontaneous uprising of patriots making a stand and a statement, building passion that something should be done and pushing the nation back to the founding principles.

On Saturday March 12th, 2011 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Gatti Town in Lexington, KY we will once again be coming together to see that YOU ARE NOT ALONE, to reflect on where we have been, and to continue our journey forward. Our freedom is possible only if we remain virtuous. Help us restore the values that founded this great nation.



This is not actually a political rally but will be more like a revival. We are coming together not for a revolution but to continue our restoration. The problem is far beyond politics or policies but a nation that has lost its principles. This is about fixing ourselves — not about fixing politics. It’s about learning about where we’ve come from, reflecting on those things, then choosing to do the RIGHT thing based upon the Principles that we hold dear. It’s about each of us, individually, making choices that reflect the Principles and Values that we live by.

‘....that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.’ Safer and stronger communities exists when more of her citizens highly valued faith, honor and charity. We shall come together for this weekend to reinforced those principles and reminded us that life's "invisible" parts are its most important

New Websites, New Looks, and New Information


We are very excited and want you to take 19 seconds to check out the new and improved national 9/12 Project website. After months of planning, The 9/12 Project has developed a new, more useful national website found at www.the912-project.com. The site's soft launch occurred about 4 pm EST on January 5, 2011 and will be made public in the weeks to come on Glenn Beck show, but you can check it out first (Especially the home page the 4th slide highlighting get involved with a great picture of KENTUCKY 9/12 PROJECT). Check it out and see if you are in the picture.

We are also equally excited about more subtle but big additions to our own website www.ky912.com. There was a lot of time spent over the holidays updating and making our site easier to navigate while adding a wealth of new content. Take time and look around again. Whole new “About You”, “Get Informed”, and “Take Action” tabs with a complete top notch online education that gives you hours of content.

Both sites reflect the organization's commitment to educating others in the community. They contain a variety of resources on Constitutional Education, the Legislative Process, Recommended Reading, and Activist Training, as well as various Volunteer, Outreach and Advocacy initiatives. The advisory board members of the national 9/12 Project as well as the local Kentucky 9/12 Project Board have indicated that this is only the beginning for both sites, which remains a work in progress and will be updated and expanded even further in the coming weeks and months.

Elections have consequences. We learned that lesson in 2008 and responded in 2010. One of the most important weapons we have to protect our republic is the power of elections.

There are two very important components that make it work. Good people running for office and better people helping elect them and insuring a fair election process. On February 12th we will host the national organization American Majority, Kentucky Knows Best Leadership PAC, and New Leaders Project in an important training that focuses on these two critical pieces.
