A growing movement of Vacation Liberty Schools and Patriot Camps to be held this summer
Help us inspire, educate, enlighten, and empower the next George Washington. Seeking youth ages 10-15 for this great opportunity to learn principles and history through creative activities.

The Danville 9/12 Project will be conducting thier ‘Vacation Liberty School”

August 1st - August 5th (6:30pm – 8:30pm daily)
Location: Faith Church, 4080 S Danville Bypass, Danville, Kentucky

If you can bring your child, your neighbor’s kids, your niece or nephew out next Monday, please consider coming out and join in the fun; we really need a good representation. I can not stress enough that this will be an invaluable experience for the young one too. They will grow into a deeper understanding of who we are as a nation and where we came from. This will help your children understand where we came from. Understand where we went wrong. Understand where the fork in the road was, and which path we should have taken. This is sure to fundamentally change your child’s grasp of history, and lay a foundation for the next George Washington to emerge in the future.

It is time to bring this fight to a local level…..

You are hearing lots of talk about the federal debt ceiling now and that should continue, but what about Kentucky’s debt ceiling. What do you mean we do not have one and can borrow at the legislatives will? They will say that the bond market and the ratings agencies keep them from borrowing too much, but we have been down that road before.

Now is the time to draw attention to the need to tie Kentucky politicians’ hands to keep them from plunging us even further into debt. While there is so much focus on the national debt let's take this opportunity to contact our local Kentucky state representatives and tell them to set a limit on how much Kentucky can borrow as well.

It is time to bring this fight to a local level…..

“Debt rating agency Moody’s suggests this morning it would be better if America didn’t have a debt ceiling at all. This is throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Having a debt ceiling didn’t cause our debt problem. Overspending did. The point to get here is that this fight is a good thing because it is starting to engage the public in a discussion we need to have. Removing the debt ceiling in order to avoid fights about debt ceilings will remove the superficial problem while only make the real problem worse.

All the more reason Kentucky needs a state debt ceiling. Frankfort over the past decade has taken full advantage of borrowing money as fast as possible with an implicit green light from the people of Kentucky. We already can’t afford the debt we have at the state level.

We can’t win the debt fight in Washington D.C. until we cut spending and we can’t even start the fight in Frankfort until we start talking about tying the hands of state politicians — Democrats and Republicans alike.” See more at Moody’s: throw out baby, bathwater

This September marks the 10 year anniversary of the horrific attacks on our nation. In honor we are planning a historic, truly once in a lifetime, journey to the hallowed ground of New York to commemorate this occasion. Please consider by any means to be part of this event – to show the proper respect for those that lost their lives, to those heroes that went forward, and for us as we stand shoulder to shoulder as Americans in their grief that brought us together.

This is what the 9/12 Project is about, this is your moment to show that you will never forget. The 9/12 Project was formed in part as a remembrance of who Americans were on the day after those devastating attacks. On 9/12/2001 we came together as one America. It was not about politics, the color of our skin, or the religion that we practiced. We were united by the principles and values that made our nation the greatest nation in the world.

Join us and hundreds of 9/12ers from around the nation as we will observe the 10 year anniversary in New York. We will honor the victims of the attacks, share in remembrance of how the event brought us together, and acknowledge those volunteers throughout the country who have dedicated themselves to the principles and values of The 9/12 Project.

This will be a full weekend of activities concluding with a very exciting 9/12 Project reception on September 12th at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City overlooking the Manhattan Skyline.
